A234 WPB steel grade is suitable for use at medium and high temperatures. It is a standard grade used for the production of pipe fittings. This grade is used more often abroad than in Poland. Polish equivalents of this grade include K18, A106, St45.8. The designation WPB means: W - weldable, P - pressure, B - minimum yield strength. A234 WPB material is a very popular material for connecting carbon steel pipes. This grade is used in pressure pipelines.
