How to install the gasket?
- Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
- Check that the gasket is free from damage.
- Check that the flange faces are not distorted.
- Remove all dirt from the flange faces and fastening components such as bolts, nuts and washers.
- Align the flanges and bolt holes.
- Carefully insert the gasket between the flanges.
- Center the gasket between the flanges.
- Do not use sealing compounds.
- Join the flanges, making sure that the gasket has not been over-compressed or damaged.
