TEMASIL HT gasket is primarily designed for steam installations. It is also suitable for sealing water systems, oil systems, cooling liquids, basic chemical media, petrochemical installations and the oil industry.

How to install the gasket?

1. Check that the gasket has the correct dimensions and material.
2. Inspect the gasket for any damage.
3. Ensure the flange faces are not distorted.
4. Clean the flange faces and all fastening components, including bolts, nuts and washers.
5. Align the flanges and bolt holes.
6. Carefully insert the gasket between the flanges and center it correctly.
7. Do not use gasket sealants or jointing compounds.
8. Tighten the flange connection, ensuring the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
