Information

Coupling 4" Socket Weld A105 Class 3000 belongs to the group of high-pressure fittings, where the pipe is welded into the socket (recess). The socket welded to the pipe creates a leak-tight piping structure. The Socket Weld (SW) system guarantees safety, durability and a permanent connection. Thanks to SW fittings, the required pressure class can be easily selected. Each fitting is marked with the size, material grade, heat number and pressure class. All SW fittings are supplied with 3.1 certificates.

Advantages: the pipe does not require beveling before welding. Socket Weld fittings do not require special preparation and are an alternative to threaded fittings.

Marking: each fitting is marked with the size, material grade, heat number and pressure class. In some cases, the thread type is also marked (manufacturing and marking comply with applicable standards).

A105 steel is a carbon steel widely used for piping components and fittings such as 3/4" Socket Weld SW Couplings A105 Class 3000. This carbon steel grade is used in pressure installations operating at ambient and elevated temperatures. It offers good machinability, as with other low-alloy steels. A105 is also a weldable steel.

Application: used for oil and gas transmission, petrochemical plants, power stations, pressure vessels, etc.

Similar material grades: 1.0460, C22.8, P245GH, P265GH, P285GH.
