Information about the Check Valve
The check valve is suitable for domestic water systems, heating and air conditioning systems, and compressed air installations. The valves can be installed in any position: vertical, horizontal, or inclined.
The main advantage of check valves is flow direction control. A check valve allows the medium to flow in one direction while preventing reverse flow. This is particularly useful in systems where backflow of liquids or gases may be undesirable or dangerous.
Check valves are widely used in the chemical industry, power generation, oil and gas industry, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, as well as water supply and sewage systems.
Available sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3", 4".
How to Install a Check Valve?
- Select the valve according to the operating pressure and operating temperature (in accordance with the valve technical data sheets).
- Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
- Before installation, make sure that the system is depressurized upstream and downstream of the valve.
- Do not subject the installed valve to additional external loads.
