Air Spring 8'' x 2 Crimped is designed for machines, equipment, and vehicles where vibrations and shocks must be eliminated. It is used in seat suspensions, bus axles, trucks, trolleybuses, tractors, trains, and trams.

Air springs, also known as pneumatic springs, are used for the elastic mounting of machines and equipment that generate shocks and vibrations transmitted through the foundation to the surrounding environment (e.g. textile looms, conveyors, impact hammers, forging presses, etc.). They are also suitable for isolating laboratory instruments from vibrations. They can also be used for suspending truck trailers and camping trailers. They are used in pneumatic lifting devices, for example in vehicle repair workshops. Another common application is as a single linear pneumatic actuator.

Benefits of using an air spring: protection of the vehicle and cargo; reduced tyre wear; lower fuel consumption; low maintenance costs; and a very long service life.

The rubber used to manufacture the air spring is not resistant to petroleum-based products (oil, diesel fuel, petrol, kerosene, etc.). If contaminated by any of these substances, it should be washed with warm water and wiped dry.

The air spring is a pneumatic actuator and must not be used below atmospheric pressure.
