Information
6" 90° LR STD ASTM A234 WPB Elbow is a seamless butt-weld fitting designed to provide a permanent 90° change in pipeline direction. It is made of ASTM A234 WPB carbon steel and manufactured according to ASME B16.9. The Long Radius design provides smoother media flow and lower flow resistance.
A234 WPB steel grade is primarily suitable for use at medium and high temperatures. It is a standard grade used for manufacturing pipe fittings. This grade is more commonly used abroad than in Poland. Polish equivalents of this grade include, for example, K18, A106 and St45.8. The WPB designation means: W – weldable, P – pressure, B – minimum yield strength. A234 WPB is a very popular material for joining carbon steel pipes. This grade is used in pressure pipelines.
A234 WPB fittings include: tees, reducers, elbows, caps and reducing fittings.
All fittings are supplied with a 3.1 certificate.
